So excited about my new calling as Activity Days leader. With a fun partner and a great group of girls (ages 8 & 9), we meet twice a month to help the girls bond, pass things off, have fun, and teach the girls new skills. It’s a perfect calling for me with my crazy schedule, and I love working with the girls. Sophie and Sage lit up and were thrilled when they found out I was one of their Activity Day leaders :)
Celebrating Chinese New Year, discovering everyone’s Chinese Zodiac
Origami, Josh taught how to make a paper crane, even though it’s the year of the Dragon
Thanks for helping Josh, they loved it (and you)!
Then noodles with chopsticks (love how my girls eat with chop sticks, hee, he, I guess we should practice that), moon cake & our favorite white rabbit candies. They left with red envelopes after discussing the meaning behind it all. A big hit with the girls!
This week (below), we celebrated Valentines…
Started with a scripture chase on Love, they won heart bracelets when they found the right verse, they hustled!
Making Valentines Cards for people in the neighborhood that needed something special, spritzing up their cards with a lot of bling!
They were able to make another one- their choice. Sophie and Sage instantly chose Sara & Kennedy, their BFF’s from our old neighborhood. Missing their old friends, but making new ones fast!
Fun times at Activity Days!
