Ringing in the New Year

It may be half way through Jan, but better late then never right?  The “Eve” celebration our city put on was a hit!  You buy the wristband and have access for three days of family fun venues downtown, with free commute on Trax to and fro each place.  Even included a Jazz Game, but that filled up fast.
We started at the Children’s Museum.

It’s been awhile since we’ve been here, forgot how much the girls enjoy it!

A great hands on, educational kids museum.

Frigid temperatures outside (really was), just ask these future News Broadcasters…

Off to… somewhere tropical, wishing.

Then we visited the Clark Planetarium, heart this picture of them looking at our beautiful earth.

The kids enjoyed the Bouncetown, glow in the dark hula hoop room, and the girls favorite, the Ballroom filled with clear balls all over the place, a soccer players dream!  There were live bands and entertainment throughout, Sophie and Sage were head over hills watching the local band “Beyond Five”, what?…  New Years is a busy time at Paul’s work, but he hurried, then joined us for a nice dinner at Olive Garden across from the Convention Center, then back to Ring in the New year, with concert and fireworks.  Thanks SLC for a fun family celebration!  A fun new tradition for us!
Here’s to a GREAT 2014!
