Gotta Love It!

even if you’re ready for Spring- bought the girls summer swim suits already, but may as well keep them packed a little longer and enjoy the white stuff since this is what we woke up to…  Ugh!

so we went with it…

The kids would line it just right to hit the jump half way down the hill, a challenge since you can’t steer those things, Sophie giggling when she landed it.

Awwww!

I was in the car for awhile getting warm, reading The Hunger Games, and watching my snow kids.  I noticed Trevor talking to a mother so I went over, she had asked if  he ever babysits and if she could get our number.  She loved how T helped her boy get up the hill and watch after him as he slid around.  Trevor is so good with kids.

Nick- {Sunday Snapshot}

Had to get some family shots while we’re together, all dressed up.  Made me laugh when I noticed how Bruno snuck in the picture.  He’s never far from my feet.

It’s great having Nick home for the week-end, the girls get so excited when they hear he’s coming, and his brothers can’t wait to see him again.  It’s been a couple of months since we’ve seen him last, busy college student.  Even when he’s home we have to share him as he catches up with his friends,  but glad to have him Sunday all to ourselves, and it was great having his friend Lindsay join us for dinner on Friday.  He’s preparing his mission papers, so he got his first suit yesterday and we took some missionary pics.  Pretty spiffy.

Nick, we’re so proud of you!  You and I, sometimes we’re on different planets, but you have always been my pride and joy, my firstborn.  How smart and enjoyable you are, how much you’ve added to our lives, broke us in to parenting as our first child, with such a big heart and a great example to your siblings.  You have always had wonderful friends and held on to them, even from grade school, a very lovable person.  You always make us laugh.  We are happy for your future endeavors and send you our blessings.  Keep staying strong, always learning, sharing, & leading and know how much your family loves you!

Josh & Kayla- Sweethearts Ball.  Their group spent the day snowboarding, then off to their first formal dance.  Nick went to one t00 at BYU-I, I’ll add pics when I see them.  Even Trevor (12) has a Valentine, sigh  what happened to my little boys?  Fun times.

Gung Hay Fat Choy

“The year of the Rabbit” Friday was our annual Chinese New Year celebration with our fun adoption group.

Great to see how much it’s grown the last 4 years we’ve been going. Girls busy making dragon masks and golden fish (Sophie in blue, Sage across from her, from my purse camera).

It’s always a great evening, catching up with others and getting the kids together, enjoying a yummy Chinese Potluck with authentic activities and festive decorations.  So nice seeing Stefanie this year, director of our adoption agency- CHI, the inspired lady who called us 4 1/2 years ago to tell us Sophie and Sage are ours!
