the pink wasn’t planned
I made crepes one morning while my dad was here. Yummmmy, I could hardly make them fast enough. It’s become a new Sunday morning tradition. Here’s my favorite crepe recipe…
Crepes
4 Eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/3 C Milk
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1 cup flour
2 Tbsp white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
In large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, flour, sugar, and salt until smooth. Heat in small skillet over medium heat. Grease pan with butter or Pam. Use small ladle, about 3 Tbsp. crepe batter in hot pan, tilting to spread evenly. Cook over medium heat 1-2 minutes per side (second side takes less time), or until golden brown.
Fill with favorite fillings:
bananas / Nutella
apple cinnamon (heat up apple pie filling, add cinnamon while heating)
raspberry jam
strawberries & cream
top with whipped topping or powdered sugar

I just made crepes this morning!! (with Nutella, our favorite!) Not really a Monday thing, just that I wanted this week to start on the right track. Girls in pink are ADORABLE!
