Christmas Eve

It was a delightful Christmas Eve! Kathy & Grandma treated us all with their yummy homemade cookies & Christmas treats. They even added some healthy stuff- veggie platter & ham sandwiches, to prevent the sugar high, good luck. The kids were soo excited and enjoyed their time with aunts, uncles, & cousins and we all had a nice time visiting, eating, & exchanging gifts. Sometimes you just want to stop the clock- we got back pretty late (girls fell asleep on the way home) and still had wrapping to do so we didn't get the traditional story read in Luke 2... I guess it's never too late, we'll have to do it tonight. At least they acted out the Nativity in church yesterday. Trevor was a wise man, and Sage was Mary with her class Nativity. So cute! Sophie & Sage are excited to celebrate Jesus' birthday. They even got some balloons for the event, what's a birthday without balloons? Merry Christmas!
