Studious Girls

Sophie & Sage enjoy learning time each day, but mainly learn while having fun as we sing songs, read books, and talk about everything around us. They have done great learning a whole new language throughout the year. They are still working on articulating their words well, they often leave off the last sound, and have some twin language going on, but their English is getting better each day. We have seen (or heard) a big improvement lately! They are very excited and ready (we hope) to start pre-school next week.

Don't worry, I'm not teaching them cursive already (over achiever mom:). They found Trevor's cursive board and couldn't resist. I will definitely get one in manuscript since they like it so much. I love seeing their curious minds, they are very deep thinkers.

Hi. Love your new look....girls are just beautiful. It must be really fun to finally begin to have them converse with you. I can't wait for that to happen with us. Sammi and Nicki are 25 months and are just barely barely saying a few words...and I imagine that must be frustrating for them. We're not in worry mode yet about the language skills but may be in 6 months or so....

Again, your girls are just lovely and seem so bright and happy!

Dianne,

Leap Frog has some wonderful wipe on/wipe off books for writing and they have a few others. Allie loves the writing one.

Hope they enjoy preschool as much as we do:)

They aren't doing half bad at the cursive! Very impressive. There were a bunch of those type of books (wipe off) at Costco the other day. I don't know if they were Leap Frog or not, but they were really cool!
